Synopsis : This movie Pattindalla Bangaram opens with a hospital scene where Bangaru Raju (Chalam) is born to a rickshaw driver. As soon as Bangaru Raju is born his father gets a jackpot of lakhs of rupees. Their neighbour and the most rich person in the city doesn't like his rickshaw driver becoming rich overnight. They fight with each other and their wives swear that they won't allow their children to marry each other. The businessman's wife delivers a baby girl but along with her birth she brings bad luck to her family. They get heavy loss in their business. Bharathi (Rajshree) is brought up with hatred and hence she always feels that she is the most unlucky person in the world. Along with their age, the relationship between Bangaru Raju and Bharathi also grows. They promise each other that they will marry but then Bangaru Raju's parents ask for a huge dowry and insult Bharathi's parents. Unable to bear this insult, Bharathi commits suicide but is saved by a sage. From their she decides to lead an independent life and to never get back to her parents. Bangaru Raju is unable to bear the pain of loosing Bharathi, so he leaves the house in search of Bharathi. They meet each other accidentally but is soon seperated by Ringer (Satyanarayana) a dacoit, who has read the news about Bangaru Raju and his property. He kidnaps him and converts one of his followers as Bangaru Raju to mislead Bangaru Raju's parents and get hold of their property. Will Bangaru Raju be able to save his parents and his property. Will he be able to gain his love, Bharathi back.
