Synopsis : Ramayya (Jagaiah) and his wife Janaki (Jamuna) lives with his brother Gopi (Shoban Babu) and his wife Radha (Vijaya Nirmala). They have a sister Chittemma. Both the brothers wants their sister to marry Chandram (Chandra Mohan) who is the son of a rich woman Kanthamma (Surya Kantham). Both the parties agree for the marriage but Kanthamma demands a very big dowry and moreover Raidu (Prabhakar Reddy) and his gang tries to create a mess at Chitemma's marriage and forces Kanthamma to demand more dowry. To fulfill Kanthamma's wish, Ramayya takes loan from Raidu but Raidu betrays him. He creates a misunderstanding between the brothers (Ramayya nad Gopi) and breaks their relationship. Their financial situation also suffers. Due to which Ramayya falls ill and in unexpected situations he throws Janaki out of the house.
