Synopsis : Ramesh(Harnath) is an well educated engineer who falls in love with Geeta (Krishna Kumari), daughter of a rich businessman who has signed a deal with Ramesh. Bujji (Chalam) and Ramesh are best friends. Ramesh who was travelling on business purpose meets a Maala, a girl in disguise with whom his bag gets exchanged and he is been caught in the case of robbery. Ramesh is helpless and is in prison when Bhujangam (Prabhaker Reddy) wants to kill him as he is the main culprit. He appoints Kattula Rattayya (S.V.Ranga Rao) to kill Ramesh but who in return helps him to escape from prison. Geeta accidently happens to help Rattayya once. Ramesh escapes from Rattayya's house and tries to create a story. He along with Bujji makes everyone believe that Ramesh has killed himself. Ramesh meets Geeta secretly but Rattayya comes to know about it and he goes to Geeta's house to kill Ramesh but when he comes to know that Ramesh is the love interest of Geeta he spares him. Ramesh now has to prove himself innocent for which he has to catch Maala. Bujji, Rattayya and Geeta are lending help to Ramesh in it. But there is a person in disguise who is following Ramesh everwhere secretly and is keeping update about his daily routine. He introduced himself to Ramesh as his well wisher.
